Welcome Greta to the crew!

Hiring is rarely a fast process at Chuckanut Builders. We put a lot of thought and energy into hiring and it shows. Our crew is awesome. We have narrowed in on a few details that make all the difference when hiring and cultivating a great crew. First and foremost is cultural fit. Closely followed by aptitude for learning new skills and enthusiasm for the trade.

Adding another Site Superintendent to the crew

We recently hired Greta Nelson and she hits all of those marks and more. We’re so excited to welcome her to our crew as a Site Superintendent. Greta bills herself as an Artisan Carpentress and she is already proving to be an asset to the Chuckanut Builders crew. Greta recently relocated to Bellingham from the Seattle area where she co-owned and operated Ballard Builders. Prior to starting Ballard Builders she worked in the construction industry with firms including Dovetail Inc. and Krekow Jennings.

Greta’s first major project with Chuckanut Builders is a major remodel and expansion at Pure Bliss Desserts. Pure Bliss Desserts will remain open during construction, needless to say we didn’t start Greta  with the easiest Chuckanut project to date! Keep an eye on our social media pages for project updates and if you stop by Pure Bliss Desserts for a sweet treat say hi!
