This one was a total transformation. Looking North over beautiful Lake Whatcom, this house had great bones, as they say, but was stuck in the past and needed some essential structural work. Think dark rooms and choppy layouts. It needed more light and personality. 

We swapped out old windows for energy-efficient ones that let the sunshine in, then opened up the floor plan by taking down walls and posts that had no business being there. The kitchen, dining room, and living area are much more welcoming! The bathrooms got a full makeover, and the deck is totally rebuilt. Secure and ready for sunset dinners. 

The house is full of personality now! Thea, with DomiStyle Designs, ditched the safer muted tones and brought in real color. Each room feels intentional without taking itself too seriously. New trim, hardware, lighting and finishes give the whole house a cohesive, updated look that actually reflects the people who live there.
