This was one of those projects where everything just clicked – the team, the vision, the transformation. The house itself had great bones: a classic 1920’s Colonial with a carriage house and a killer view. But after years of random renovations, the layout didn’t really make sense anymore, especially for a family that loves to cook and entertain.
Working with Adair Orr of Armadillo Design Lab and the Lisa Staton Interior Design team, we helped rework the flow completely – moving the kitchen and main living areas to the other side of the house to take full advantage of the space (and that view!). The new layout includes a big, bright kitchen, a walk-in pantry, and a coffee bar that gets serious use. Outside, we carved a kitchen addition right into the hillside and added a wood-fired pizza oven and custom pergola for outdoor dining. It turned into a perfect little oasis.
The details were a lot of fun – blending classic farmhouse touches with East Coast and English country inspiration. The home is warm and welcome, but still timeless. Hats off to the whole team – it was a true collaboration from start to finish, and we’re really proud of how it all came together.
