Join us at the 6th annual PechaKucha event this Wednesday! The 10 finalists from the KAPOW placemaking competition are presenting their ideas for building a more vibrant downtown. Three of the ideas will be chosen for implementation! A Mayor’s award, one jury selected award, and one people’s choice award. We’re biased of course, we’re hoping the Big Chair wins! Mike McAuley is building the chair and we think it’s awesome!
We hope you can join us at the Mount Baker theater to participate in live voting, enjoy local beer & music, dress up like a superhero and be the first to find out what projects will be implemented in Downtown Bellingham. All proceeds from the event go to the winners for implementation!

- Doors open at 6pm, presentations start at 7pm.
- Priority seating for super hero costumes.
- Live audience participation for the People’s Choice Winner! We need your vote!
- Suggested donation of $10 goes to the winners!
