JOB SUMMARY
The Project Engineer (PE) is responsible for assisting/supporting the Project Managers in achieving operational success of construction projects from initial concept to final walkthrough. This is a behind-the-scenes role that bridges the gap between sales, preconstruction, and field execution, ensuring that our projects are delivered with precision and profitability.
The PE must have an aptitude for systems management, operating software, data tracking, and is responsible for continual improvement of these systems.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
- 3+ years in construction, with an interest in estimating and/or project management. Strong preference for some experience in high-end residential construction
- Must be comfortable talking to clients, designers, and trade contractors and have solid written communication skills.
- Must be able to work independently, develop and manage a work plan, be flexible, and meet deadlines and commitments.
- Operate and improve upon the system for managing project management documents, including building plans, specifications, purchase orders, time budgets, project budgets and change orders.
- Aptitude for software and designing management systems. Should have a strong working knowledge of the following programs, in order of importance:
Gmail and Google Calendar
Microsoft Excel & Word
CoConstruct or other Project Management software
Bluebeam and/or other take-off/estimating software
PDF management software (Adobe Acrobat, PlanGrid, etc.)
Dropbox
Todoist

Pay: $70-85k Annually
